Evaluation Criteria: This award is presented to the UNDERGRADUATE chapter for an outstanding program targeting youth.

CRITERIA

Max Points EFFORTS TO EXPAND OPPORTUNITIES AND INVOLVE YOUTH IN COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS – 20 POINTS

I Examples include: UNCF, NAACP, Urban League , and Other Organizations 20 A. Memberships and youth committees B. Chapter activities which promote youth involvement and commitment to these organizations C. Collaborative projects with other community or university organizations

CHAPTER INVOLVEMENT YOUTH GROUPS -50 POINTS

II Youth Groups A. Chapter activities with youth groups in the community or sponsored by the university in the areas of leaderships, social skills, and the performing arts. Community services may include any of the following or additional activities: homeless children, abused children, physically and developmentally disabled children, Special Olympics 30

B. Involvement of these youths in service projects (examples include senior citizens, community clean up) 20

IV Chapter demonstrates support of the following youth activities –scholarship awareness, tutorial and mentoring programs, and educational events. 20
