TOPIC: As we recognize the Fifty Anniversary of Title IX, which is a civil rights law

that was passed as a part of Education Amendments of 1972. What achievements do you think have been made and what do you feel still needs to be accomplished?

I Creativity – Unique and interesting II Style – Tone, sentence structure, word choice III Content – Well defined and developed and grammatically correct 15 20 35

IV Organization – Logical presentation with appropriate conclusion V Documentation – Facts documented and sources given

Guidelines for the submitted essay:

I Inclusion of a cover sheet: Must included the name of the submitting soror and chapter name II Typewritten on plain white paper with one-inch margin on each side III Double spaced IV At most five (5) pages of essay text V Well documented references/sources of information VI Required signature of the Graduate Advisor Notes: 20 10

Essay should be no more that 5 pages double spaced. The name of the soror submitting the essay and her chapter must be listed on the cover page or five points will be deducted.
