Judge Responsibilities 1. A soror volunteering to serve as a judge should expect to receive emails from glrcjudges@gmail.com. So, ensure that these emails aren’t going to your spam folder. 2. If a soror is no longer available to serve as a judge, she should communicate to her Chapter Basileus and Awards Chairman. If she receives an email from glrcjudges@gmail.com, she should respond indicating that she is no longer serving as a judge. The email should not be ignored. 3. The judge should review the awards criteria that has been assigned to them. The soror is encouraged to review the scrapbooks assigned to them prior to scoring any of the scrapbooks to establish a baseline for their scoring. Only one evaluation form should be submitted per scrapbook. If more that one form is received, then the last form submitted will be the form that will be used for the evaluation of the scrapbook. 4. The soror is encouraged to attend the awards training sessions and should be familiar with the award criteria that has been assigned. 5. Each judge shall complete an evaluation form for each entry without collaboration or input from other judges. 6. The soror should be mindful of the time and effort required to present a quality book. The soror serving as a judge should allow adequate time for the evaluation of the scrapbooks. If points are deducted, then comments/feedback should be provided. 7. The judge should provide comments on the evaluation form and not in Dropbox. 8. Each judge should include their name and chapter and select the correct chapter that they are evaluating on the electronic evaluation form. 9. The soror serving as a judge should complete their assignment on the evaluation day. The soror should send an email to her chapter awards chairman indicating that they have completed their judging assignment. The chapter awards chairman will then send one email to glrcjudges@gmail.com indicating that the judging assignment has been completed for her chapter.
