Carlo is unemployed and living an unsatisfactory life with his wife, Giulia, and their three children Bianca, Tito and Camilla. When Guilia is given a promotion only a few days before Christmas, the entire family’s way of life is thrown into chaos. Needing to relocate to Sweden for the job, Carlo and his wife decide to make the trip through Europe in the family’s old camper van. Somewhere along the border of Austria, Carlo accidentally hits a strange looking man who is convinced he is the real Santa Claus. Offering him a ride, Carlo and his family embark on quite the adventure!
SANTA CLAUS IS COMING TO TOWN…OR IS HE? ALESSANDRO GENOVESI Director Alessandro Genovesi was born in Milan in 1973 and began his professional career on stage as an actor and then playwright and director. In 2007 he had his break in theatre with the play “Happy Family“ which he both wrote and directed. The play won several awards and in 2010 was adapted to film and directed by Gabriele Salvatores. Genovesi made his directorial film debut in 2011 with the film “The Worst Week of My Life“.
