Giovanni Passamonte is a cynical and self-centered best-selling novelist who has lived an exaggerated life by having many wives and many children. When he fi nds out that he has been awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature because of his numerous international bestsellers, he plans to drive from Rome to Stockholm for the ceremony. His son Oreste, a personal trainer, and his daughter Lucrezia, a blogger, two losers in his eyes, and his long-time assistant Rinaldo also join him for the trip.
