Nature & Forest Therapy walks are designed to help open up our senses, slow down and reconnect with nature in a way that lowers our blood pressure and cortisol levels. We are more productive in all areas of our life when we experience the benefits of Nature & Forest Therapy. This class is taught by a Certified Forest Therapy Guide. CHAIR YOGA TR This specially designed yoga class helps individuals with physical disabilities and mobility challenges increase mobility and strength while reducing stress without having to get on the floor. This genre of yoga is practiced either sitting or using chairs for support in various postures and is designed to thoughtfully increase range of motion while meeting students where they are. If you’ve heard of ZUMBA, ZUMBA GOLD is a spin off of that class but geared to a group that you may call active older adults OR who may have to be more cautious with their body; injuries to ankles, knees, hips, back or neck issues. It is a fun and energizing latin based fitness class that will be fun and exciting as you learn the various latin rhythms but will reduce the impact and speed found in a ZUMBA Basic class!
