NEW! ARCHERY LEVEL 1 CERTIFICATION TRAINING The Level 1 Archery Instructor Certification Course provides graduates the necessary tools to maintain a high level of safety both on and off the archery range. MEN’S16+ PICK-UP LACROSSE LEAGUE The league is for males 16 years and older who want to continue to play lacrosse in the off-season. Body-Checking is NOT allowed in this league. League play will be limited to stick checks and minimal (involuntary) body checks. All games will be played on the synthetic turf at Chuck Foreman Field on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons. Games will have In house/officials and all registrants will receive an XL reversible jersey with their pre-paid registration. Gates to the field open at 6 pm. GO GET IT VOLLEYBALL INSTRUCTION-INTERMEDIATE This clinic is for those with prior volleyball experience, who want to continue learning the game of volleyball. The class is designed for people who can ALREADY perform basic volleyball skills including overhand serve, defense and serve receive formations and transitions. You need to have been promoted from the Beginner program or have previous experience at the high school or club volleyball level. This class builds on basic skills and introduces more advanced offensive and defensive techniques into game play. Participants will be evaluated week 1 to determine if they are qualified for Intermediate, or need to successfully complete the Beginner class first. This class is NOT for beginners. CO-ED MIDDLE SCHOOL VOLLEYBALL LEAGUE This league is for boy and girls enrolled in grades 6th, 7th or 8th grade during the 2019-2020 school year only. Learn basic volleyball skills, play games against other county teams, and participate in a tournament. One hour practices are held once a week and will vary at each site. Game-day meetings are approx. 1-hour long between the times and locations listed below. Jerseys will be provided. The Parks & Recreation Division will form teams and games will be played on Saturdays at various times. Volunteer coaches are needed and will receive a discount. The Center Coordinator will monitor drop-in programs. All participants must show proof of identification and sign a waiver upon entering a drop-in program for the first time.
