he day of the confirmation was the 24th of May. Mass was about an hour long. It started at 1.00pm. fter the clearing of Covid restrictions our school had a chance to participate in the Cork City Sports again. Alex Wilson, Simon (me), Ciaran, Maxwell, Conor, Alex, Adrian, Plejy, Harry, Jordan, Jack, Andrew and Kingsley made it through the trials held in the school. We practiced at school with our teachers Mn. Rory and
sponsor, cousins, aunt, uncle and older friends came to support me on the day. Most of us were nervous but it felt nice receiving our confirmation. The choir was also excellent on the day as they helped us sing our songs, the pianist was also really good. It was amazing to see the teachers, SNA’s and the principal to show up and support us. After mass a lot of
us took pictures and later me and my supporters had lunch in a hotel. It was a great day!

Mn. Gail and stayed active outside of school. The bus ride was very long, but fun. Watching all the other racers in my seat was very exciting. In the race we gave it my all, some of us ran bare footed to improve our speed. In the end we all did our best and were exhausted. Some of us won prizes too. Alex Wilson, Maxwell, Adrian and
