South Molton Jazz Club is returning after lockdown and will be relocating to Swimbridge Jubilee Hall and ‘rebranding’ as First Friday Jazz Club (ad left and page 14). “This modern and well equipped hall has a licensed bar, a professional sound and light system, parking and will be a welcoming venue in which to hear the best jazz around,” said organiser Nigel Penfold. Every month they will have a different band, and Covid Secure measures will be in place. The first gig on September 3rd, will be the Neil Maya Quartet, with their celebration of 1959 - the Golden Year of Jazz. Doors open at 8pm, music starts at 8.30pm prompt.
