Manapság nem valószínű, hogy valaki ne hallott volna Harry Potterről, a kis túlélőről, akinek nyolc részben megírt története a világ valaha legtöbbet eladott könyvsorozata, 500 millió példány kelt el belőle. A filmek talán még ennél is híresebbek: összesen 365 milliárd forintot költöttek a sorozat leforgatására, mely majdnem nyolcszorosan térült meg a készítőknek. Talán még azt a kijelentést is megkockáztathatjuk, hogy az angol varázsló a világirodalom leghíresebb fiktív figurája. Nem csoda tehát, hogy ha az Egyesült Királyság területén kirándulgatunk, lépten-nyomon Harry Potterbe botlunk – Dél-Angliától a Skót Felföldekig, Londontól Edinburghig. E közül a rengeteg helyszín közül választottuk ki a legérdekesebbeket, ahova egytől-egyig érdemes ellátogatni annak is, akinek a seprűn röpködés nem a világa. Nekünk dupla öröm volt. GLEN COE, SKÓCIA Ha Edinburghban vagy Glasgowban szállunk meg, mindenképp megéri az A82-es utat követve felvezetni Fort Williamig, a Skót Felföld fővárosába. A panorámaút keresztül visz a mesebeli Loch Lomond Nemzeti Parkon és a lélegzet elállító Glen Coe szoroson. Az út 2,5 óra, ám számítsunk rá, hogy csak késő este 10 • 2021 Ősz- T él / Autumn-Winter

Today, it is unlikely anyone hasn't heard of Harry Potter, the boy who lived. His eight-part series has sold 500 million copies worldwide, making it the world's best-selling book series ever. Perhaps, the movies are even more famous: a total of HUF 365 billion was spent on filming the series, which returned almost eight times in revenue to the filmmakers. Possibly we can even risk the statement that the English Wizard is the most famous fictional character in world literature. No wonder, we stumble into Harry Potter every turn wandering around the UK - from the south of England to the Scottish Highlands, from London to Edinburgh. From the abundance of these locations, we selected the most interesting ones, which are worth visiting even for those who are not that much into wizarding. It was double the pleasure for us. GLEN COE, SCOTLAND If you’re staying in Edinburgh or Glasgow, it’s definitely worth taking the A82 road to Fort William, the capital of the Scottish Highlands. You'll find yourself taking a panoramic journey across the fabulous Loch Lomond National Park and the breathtaking Glen Coe Valley. Drive time is 2.5 hours, but you're likely to arrive back
