Kotor a hegyek és a tenger közé „horgonyzott” le, s a magas, vad sáncok fátyla mögé bújva hódította meg az emberek kegyeit. Az örökké fejlődő sziklaszirtek, s az öreg erdő, amelyek „letekintenek” az öbölre, bástyát jelentenek Kotornak. Kotor öreg belvárosa. Ez a Kotori-öböl leghíresebb része, ahol tetten érhető a város jól megőrzött történelme, kultúrája, s tradíciói. Egymást érik itt a középkori épületek, a katedrálisok, templomok, paloták, múzeumok. Keskeny kis utcák, hangulatos terek, s a piac is fantasztikus hangulatot árasztanak. Lehet fotózni a régi gazdag családok szépen kivitelezett házait, kapuit, a lépcsősorokat… A mediterrán világ leginkább és legjobban megóvott városa ez. A leglátványosabb talán a város déli bástyája, amely 5 km hosszú, 20 méter magas és 10 méter széles. Remek példája ez az egykori európai erődítményszerű építészetnek, amely a 9. században vette kezdetét, s még 10 évszázadon át tartott. A bástyának 3 kapuja Kotor has dropped an anchor between the gray mountains and the sea, and veiled its life behind the high and wide ramparts. That is the most famous part of Kotor bay, where the Kotor history, culture, and tradition are being preserved. The old town of Kotor has a great number of monuments of the medieval architecture: churches, cathedrals, palaces, and museums. Its beauty is complemented with the multitude of narrow streets, squares, and markets. The old town of Kotor stands out also by the great number of stylishly made gates, palaces of the wealthy families, and a great number of stairs. The old nucleus of Kotor today is considered to be the best preserved medieval urban entity in the Mediterranean. Ha valaki úgy dönt, hogy egész nap Kotor belvárosában szeretne bóklászni, akkor nem hibázik, s tudni kell, hogy számos kávézó, várja a turistákat, akik szeretnének a városnézés közben egy kicsit megpihenni. Kotor belvárosában sok ízlésesen dekorált étterem is hívogat, ahol a mediterrán konyha finomságait bárki megrendelheti magának. Két hotel is nyitott a belvárosban, amely 1979 óta az Unesco világörökségi címét viseli. Kotor a kulturális öröksége okán egyre nagyobb figyelmet kap a világban. Kotor gasztronómiája. Érdemes kipróbálni a helyi konyhát, a tradicionális és a modern specialitásokat egyaránt. Nincs olyan tér, terasz, hotel udvar, vagy park, ahol ne szolgálnának fel valami finomságokat Kotorban. A helyi levesek közül a pisztráng leves ajánlott, még akkor is, ha valaki nem rajong a halakért. Ebben nagydarab főtt halhúsok úszkálnak, rizs és más hozzávalók

teszik még tartalmassá az ételt, amelynek színe sötétvörös. Meg kell kóstolni a montenegrói gnocchit – Kotor's njoke –, a helyiek kedvenc tésztáját, s az édes szájúaknak nem szabad kihagyni a „frustulát”, ami ropogós édes rombusz formájú aprósütemény. Szinte minden vendéglő étlapján szerepel a tenger gyümölcsiből alkotott előétel tál: polip saláta, pisztráng leves, grillezett tintahal, languszta, tengeri halak… A felkínált ételek nemcsak finomak, hanem az illatuk is a mediterrán világot tükrözik: a citrom, a petrezselyem, a bazsalikom, a rozmaring, a foghagyma, s más fűszernövények az egészséges táplálkozás megtestesítői. A Kotori-öböl strandjai. Kotornak nincsenek hosszú partszakaszai, viszont aranyos, intim strandok várják a nyaralókat. Tipikus montenegrói beach például a Morinj, a körülötte lévő hegyek és fák hűsítő árnyékában. Különleges varázsa van az itt található egyik étteremnek, amelyet egy öreg malom épületéből alakítottak át vendéglátóhellyé. Bajova kula. Perast felé haladva található ez a kis kedves beach, amely mentén örökzöld babér cserjék láthatók. Nyáron mindig szól a zene, tele vannak a napozóágyak, vonzó hely. Orahovac. Mediterrán vegetáció, kristálytiszta víz, sok napsütés, harmónia – ezek a jellemzői. Trsteno. 200 méter hoszszú strand, finom homok, érintetlen környezet, kellemes hőfokú víz. Bigova. A gyógyító homokjáról híres, meg arról, hogy sokan horgásznak erről a partszakaszról. Plavi Horizonti. Félreeső helyen található, ahol a párok csodás környezetben romantikázhatnak a nyugodt, csendes, homokos strandon. 10 m wide. From whichever door that you go into the town, the road will bring you to the most famous edifice – cathedral Sveti Tripun from the XII century, which is dedicated to the protector of the town – Sveti Tripun. That square was and remained the main place for gathering. Various gatherings happened there and it was the place where people from Kotor assembled. Square of the Arms, Kotor. Cultural richness of Kotor is made priceless by its treasury which hides some significant cultural monuments. Narrow Streets of Kotor old Town. If you decide to spend the entire day touring the old town, you will not make a mistake, because beside the research and getting to know with the town you can get refreshment in some of the numerous Kotor cafés. They are mostly found on Kotor squares. The old town of Kotor has also a large number of nicely decorated restaurants and hotels. In them you can try traditional specialties, as well as different Mediterranean food. In the old town there are also 2 hotels, in which you can accommodate yourself nicely, and pleasantly spend your holiday. The most important thing of all is to mention that the Old town of Kotor is on the list of the UNESCO world cultural inheritance, since 1979. From the same named institution Kotor was recently declared the world cultural inheritance in danger, so in the following period numerous European and world cultural institutions will give it even bigger attention. Kotor cuisene. In Kotor, you can try out the traditional national Montenegrin cuisine, as well as many other modern specialties. There almost isn’t a restaurant, a smaller open terrace, hotel terrace or Kotor fiesta, on which Kotor specialties are not served. We are suggesting that when you visit Kotor, you try the domestic fish thick soup (it is usually prepared from the cooked fish trout). That

Perast

Perast a legfurcsább, s egyben a leggyönyörűbb helye a Kotori-öbölben. Napjainkban sokan úgy nevezik, hogy a legcsendesebb, legnyugodtabb település. A keskeny utcái, a barokk és reneszánsz palotái arról árulkodnak, hogy egykor milyen pazar gazdagság volt itt, s milyen luxusban éltek a helyi lakosok. Perast a tengerészek városaként lett ismert, s nemcsak Montenegróban, hanem más országokban is tudtak erről a településről. Több száz vitorláshajó dokkolt rendszeresen a múltban a kikötőben, ehhez képest ma elhagyatottnak nevezhetjük ezt a helyet. Összesen 16 örökségvédelmi palota díszeleg a városban, köztük a városkapunál lévő Bujovic barokk építmény, amely szépségével talán kiemelkedik a sorból. Persze a Bronza, a Sestokrilovic, a Mazarovic, a Balovic, a Viskovic, a Pavlovicini, a Martinovic, s Zmajevic, s a többi sem akármilyen. Valamennyi az egykori Perast-klánt reprezentálja.

Perast jelenlegi lakossága 360 fő, kellemes sétálgatni az utcáink, s élvezni a napsütést, itt még télen is több a napos órák száma, mint sok mediterrán nyaralóhelyen dél-Franciaországban. Mivel Perastnak nincs klasszikus beach-e, így nem alkalmas a fürdésre.

Our Lady of the Rocks

Júliusban és augusztusban sok fesztivált rendeznek. A legismertebb a tradicionális Fasinada. A fő attrakció vitathatatlanul az Our Lady of the Rocks, egy kis sziget egy templommal és temetkezési hellyel. A 17. századból való. Minden évben július 22-én a közeli városkák lakói ide eveznek és köveket dobálnak a tengerbe, hogy jelképesen stabilizálják a kis szigetet. Augusztusban a tradicionális dalfesztivál kerül az érdeklődés középpontjába.

Budva

Egykor kis és nyugodt tengerparti városka volt, ma a montenegrói turizmus nyüzsgő, s hangos fellegvára egész nyáron. Éttermek, szállodák, éjszakai bárok, luxus jachtok jellemzik Budvát. A vendéglőkből árad a finom BBQ-illat, s diszkók fényei kápráztatók, sok nevetés hallatszik, a vendégek remekül érzik itt magukat. Szemben a várossal Budva saját kis „Hawaii-szigete” található fényűző beachekkel, tenger gyümölcsit kínáló éttermekkel, hideg üdítőkkel! is actually one type of fish soup, with bigger pieces of fish, with rice and various additives that give the meal a dark red color and a sharp scent which lurks you very much to try that meal, even if you are not a great fish fun. Kotor has no long beaches, but cute and intimate ones scattered around the bay. Typical beaches in Kotor riviera: Morinj is a sandy-pebbly beach on a small headland tucked

in the shade of surrounding mountains and trees. The old mills converted into exclusive restaurants bestow a special charisma. Bajova kula – On the way to Perast, there is a small, pebbly beach emerged in dense greenery of laurel trees accessible from both land and sea. Sunbeds, umbrellas, greenery and music make this beach very attractive and popular. Orahovac is a pebbly, crystal-clear, all day long sunny beach, with harmonious surroundings of dense Mediterranean vegetation. Trsteno is a 200m long beach, with fine sand, clear water, sandy sea bottom, and untouched nature. Bigova beach used to be a fishing port. It is famous for its healing sand. Plavi Horizonti is a nice sandy beach with crystal clear water and quiet and secluded places to enjoy.

Perast

Perast is surely one of the strangest, and by its history one of the most beautiful places in Kotor bay. Today it is often called the quietest town in Boka. Its narrow streets and numerous, mostly

Tivat és Porto Montenegro

Nem, ez nem Monakó… De valami hasonló… Szuper jachtok, flancos kikötő, pazar promenád, Ritz Carlton stílusú luxus apartman házak, hivalkodó éttermek és butikok… Ez Tivat. Itt pihen manapság nyaranta a világ elitje, az úgynevezett Jet-Set utazók, akik a jóléthez vannak szokva, akiknek csak a magas minőség elfogadható. Annak ellenére, hogy itt minden a modern luxusról szól, azért akad pár történelmi épület, olyan, mint például a Buca Reneszánsz Nyári Pihenőház, vagy, Ostrvo Cvijeca, az áldott emlékmű. A Plavi Horizonti beach és a Sv.Nikola sziget különlegesen vonzó a turisták számára.

Érdekesség, hogy nyáron itt rendezik sok érdeklődővel a múltat idéző különleges sportjátékokat, amely Bocarska Olympiad névre hallgat.

One & Only Portonovi

Herceg Novi közelében található Európa egyik legsikkesebb és legluxusabb resort hotelje, a One & Only Portonovi. Nyolc évig építették, s 2021. májusában nyitotta meg. A Boka Bay partján épült resorban 113 szoba várja a vendégeket, saját homokos strandja van (a sok tonna homokot Egyiptomból importálták), hat medencében lehet fürdeni, plusz a vikllákhoz saját merülőmedencék is tartoznak. Perast used to be a town of sailors, and it was know by that even outside the space of Montenegro. We can see even today that famous stone housed and captain’s palaces standing out. There are 16 preserved palaces in Perast, among them is the baroque palace Bujovic at the very entrance in Perast. Other palaces are: Bronza, Sestokrilovic, Mazarovic, Balovic, Viskovic, Pavlovicini, Martinovic, Zmajevic and others. All of them represent 12 Perast brotherhoods (clans). While along Perast you used to hear the sound of footsteps day and night, and while along the streets you could see the ladies of the rich seaman, and girls in love, walking, in the coves of Perast hundreds of sailing boats used to dock in, and today Perast is mostly an abandoned town, with barely 360 citizens. Even though the situation is like that, one should walk through Perast, and fill oneself with the spirit of renaissance and baroque. Perast during the winter has more sunny hours that the famous tourist places on the Azure coast.

Our Lady of the Rocks island

Even though it doesn’t offer lots of events, Perast is quite interesting during the summer. During July and August various festivities like traditional Fasinada – a ritual procession of barges and boast, which take stones with them which is then put onto the Our Lady of the Rocks island, occur there. Fasinada is held in July. In August Perast is a host to the manifestation – Meetings of music clappers – in which competitors – singers compete in traditional singing which is present on the part of the Mediterranean which goes from Dalamatia to Montenegro. Because of the lack of beach zone, the coast of Perast is not suitable for beach tourism.

Budva

Once a small and quiet coastal town, today, Budva is a metropolis of Montenegrin tourism and one of the loudest and most packed towns at the Montenegrin coast during the summer. Its life began on the headland two and a half millennia ago and has poured out of the ramparts towards luxurious yachts, new buildings, restaurants, bars, and nightclubs where amazing fun awaits. Budva has its own Hawaii – an island opposite the city with beautiful beaches, ice cold refreshments and seafood specialties.

In the evening, on the promenade along the beach you will be overwhelmed by the loud music that comes from the cafes, the laughter and screams of children from nearby amusement parks, the scent of the sea mixed with the aroma of delicious barbeque, and beams of light from the disco that stroll through the sky. Budva is a big light show.

Tivat and Porto Montenegro

No this is not Monaco… All these loafing super yachts in a posh marina, the high-class promenade and ritzy apartment blocks, the polished restaurants and shops are in Tivat, Montenegro. Once a modest and ordinary town, Tivat went through a major remodeling of its marina and the surroundings and today it is a place where the world’s jet-set resides and rests in the summertime. Although a big portion of Tivat is modern and glamorous, you can find traces of history in here – Renaissance Summer House Buca in the centre of city, Ostrvo Cvijeca with sacred monuments, Gornja Lastva, the old nucleus, the magnificent beach at Plavi Horizonti and the island Sv. Nikola. The spirit of old times lives through unique Olympics – the Bocarska Olympiad and Summer Fests.

Close to Herceg Novi you can find one of the most luxury and fashionable hotel of Europe, the One & Only Portonovi. After 8 years of preparation works it is opened in May, 2021.
