This qualification will develop the learner’s knowledge, understanding and skills to enable them to advise and consult with men on the type of hair-cut and facial hair shaping they want, but just as importantly what is suitable for them. Training is also provided on how to work in a safe manner throughout the service. The purpose of this qualification is to develop the learner’s practical skills to a high level of occupational ability to enable them to perform within a salon setting.
