This qualification will develop the learner’s knowledge, understanding and skills to enable them to advise and consult with men on the type of hair-cut and facial hair shaping they want, but just as importantly what is suitable for them. Training is also provided on how to work in a safe manner throughout the service.

Progression Options On successful completion of the course, learners can apply to an advanced Level3 Diploma in Barbering or alternatively commence work in a salon. Entry Requirements Junior Certificate or QQI Level 3, or equivalent standard of education. All applicants are subject to a trial period, interview and an online assessment.
