The aim of this programme is to develop learners’ practical skills to a high level of occupational ability to enable them to perform a range of salon services.

This course will prepare learners for employment as a supervised assistant/apprentice or for further learning in the hairdressing and beauty industry.

Progression Options On successful completion of the course, learners can apply to a variety of Level 5/6 courses including traineeships and apprenticeships relating to hairdressing, beauty or salon therapy. Entry Requirements Junior Certificate or QQI Level 3, or equivalent standard of education. All applicants are subject to a trial period, interview, and an online assessment.
