For the Expected, Unexpected and Everything in Between The Social Services Division oversees a spectrum of programs centered around community health and well-being. Los Alamos residents of all ages can receive assistance with access to housing and food support, health insurance and benefits, and other resources to help meet their needs. The division also manages contracts with partnering agencies who provide a range of programming and services for individuals, youth, families, and seniors throughout the community. Social Services staff also coordinate the work of the Los Alamos County Health Council and the DWI Planning Council.
