...with Bandelier National Monument located on the southern edge of town, the Valles Caldera National Preserve located just to the west, and the Manhattan Project National Historic Park located in the heart of downtown. Enjoy hiking, fly fishing, camping, and wildlife viewing, while also learning about the unique geology of the Pajarito Plateau, the stories of the Ancestral Puebloan people and the Jemez Mountain Homesteaders, and the world-changing discoveries made during the Manhattan Project.
