Challenge Yourself with Cross Country Skiing at our Public Course

Nestled at the base of the Jemez Mountains, atop the Pajarito Plateau, the Los Alamos County Golf Course offers a challenging 6,500 yard, par 72, 18-hole layout that gets turned into a cross country ski playground when the snow arrives. The golf course, built in 1947 by the Atomic Energy Commission, is one of the oldest 18-hole golf courses in New Mexico. Panoramic vistas and clear, fresh mountain air at an elevation of 7,400 feet, provide a beautiful setting to enjoy the winter wonderland and have great experiences.
