2021 Virtual VCE Art and Design Exhibition.
In November 2021, we celebrated the work of our students in VCE Art, Studio Arts and Visual Communication Design with our annual VCE Art and Design Exhibition. Due to lockdowns and restrictions, our exhibition went virtual using a platform that provided an innovative and engaging way to view artworks in a simulated gallery environment. We congratulate all the students involved for what they achieved in a challenging year. The following awards were presented in this exhibition: Robyn Price Art Acquisition Award In 2018, the Korovian Club inaugurated this award honouring the outstanding contribution by Robyn in her 27 years of teaching Visual Arts at Korowa. Robyn was loved and respected by generations of Korowa students and is passionate about the importance of creative expression in education. ‘Air’. Emma Talbot, VCE, Year 11.

The 2021 award was judged by artist, Deborah Williams, and the recipient was Bethany Jamieson (Class of 2021) for her pen drawing, ‘The Figure’ (featured on the cover). Deborah felt that this drawing demonstrated a powerful sensibility that explored a high level of consideration in visual language and aesthetic deliberation.
