Congratulations to the Class of 2021

This group of students will be remembered not by the number of lockdowns, months spent in distance learning, or as the year level that spent their entire VCE years impacted by a global pandemic, but rather by who they have become and who they are – young people who genuinely care for each other, are not afraid to stand up for what is right and who challenge the status quo.

Despite these extraordinary times, our students got on with it. They were brave, respectful, honest, generous and kind. They are truly an amazing cohort, and we could not be more proud of each and every one of them.

Summary of Results:

• 11.7% of students achieved an ATAR of 99 or above

• 40.3% of students achieved an ATAR of 95 or above

• 61% of students achieved an ATAR of 90 or above

• 3 perfect study scores of 50

• Median ATAR: 91.85

• Median study score: 36

In addition to their commitment to their academic studies, the Class of 2021 also found opportunities to get involved in the creative and performing arts, music, sport, service, debating and more.

Last year our 2021 VCE Dux was Charlotte Li who achieved an ATAR of 99.7.

Korowa achieved three perfect study scores, Emily Cox (Class of 2021) in Media, Madeleine Cleeve (Class of 2021) in Health and Human Development and Eloise Auwardt (Class of 2022) in Biology.

These results have again placed Korowa as one of the top performing schools in the state.

Post-School destinations

In January, the Class of 2021 students received their tertiary offers. Our students have continued to follow their passions, selecting courses across a wide variety of areas including direct-entry Medicine, Commerce, Arts, Science, Biomedicine, Law, Engineering, and Design.
