After months of no productions or performances last year, it was an incredible journey bringing The Wizard of Oz Young Performers’ Edition to life!
With a grand total of 17 musical numbers, a few extra than those seen on the big screen, our cast worked tirelessly in rehearsals and everyone maintained their high-level of excitement and enthusiasm throughout the entire process.
The entire cast of 124 performers demonstrated great resilience, flexibility and maturity in dealing with rehearsals for the musical and all the challenges last year dealt us.
A big round of applause to our lead performers, who put in extra miles. The cast of The Wizard of Oz Young Performers’ Edition did a great job bringing their characters to life and it was a wonderful to watch them perform in both a matinee and evening performance, to an audience, late last year.
Much of our rehearsal time was spent online and performance dates moved multiple times, but the cast did not let this hold them back. The show must go on!
