Early Bird Youth Basketball Tournament open to area travel teams The 20th Annual Sutton Athletic Booster Club Early Bird Youth Basketball Tournament will take place on Friday, November 17th through Sunday, November 19th. It is one of the longest running youth basketball tournaments in Central MA and the largest annual fundraiser for SABC, with proceeds benefiting Sutton High School student-athletes and programs. Season kick off for area town teams, to take place prior to regular season games. The tournament will take place at Sutton High School, 383 Boston road in Sutton and is open to all boys and girls town travel teams, All Massachusetts and Southern New England are welcome. Grades 3 - 8. NOTE: No AAU teams please. TOUrNAMENT DETAILS: • Cost per team $275 (reduced in 2023 for 20th anniversary!)
• 3 games total for each team. 2 officials per game. • $5 One day/$10 Three-day weekend admission for guests. Seniors 65+, Military, Kids 16 and under free. (Parking is free.) • Full concessions and tournament merchandise will be sold on site. We are excited to welcome teams from all over southern New England to come and sharpen their skills and team play as a warm-up
before their regular game schedule begins. We aim to make this a competitive, well run, safe and fun event, in a pristine athletic facility. We are confident due to past demand that slots will fill quickly, and encourage town travel coaches to register as soon as possible to guarantee a placement in their division. In a time of rising costs when athletic directors and programs are constantly challenged to do more with less, this fundraiser is a critical initiative for the Sutton Boosters to raise funds and help support our year-round program needs. From long term capital projects like helping to buy new scoreboards, or smaller requests, like covering co-op costs and purchasing new pitching machines, the club is dedicated to doing whatever they can to make the competitive playing experience at Sutton High School for all athletes the best it can be, and to demonstrate our pride for all of
