BeCOMe A SOUP MASTeR
Cooking classes for adults are back on Monday, Nov. 20th @ 6 p.m. at the Former Unitarian Church. What's better than a simmering pot of soup on a cold day? Forget the sodium-filled canned stuff and come learn how to make it yourself using fresh and healthy ingredients. Therapy
Gardens will show you how their extremely popular low sodium chicken stock is made. Get recipes for Italian White Bean and Spinach Soup, red Lentil Vegetable Soup, Seafood Stew, and more — if you love soup, this one’s for you! Please register on the Library’s website or call 508-278-8624. PASS The FeATheR PReSeNTATION
On Saturday, Nov. 18th @ 10 a.m. at the Former Unitarian Church. The No Evil Project is collaborating with Native Heritage New England to increase awareness and to show the current traditions and today’s culture of Indigenous and First Nations People. Contrary to the belief that Indigenous people were only in the past, the tribes are still here. Indigenous people have active roles in their communities, a wide array of careers, while still living the traditions and culture of their ancestors. Join Chief Ladybug of Native Heritage New England to learn about current day Indigenous people and ask any questions you may have. Please register on the Library’s website or by phone at 508-278-8624.
