This year’s festival raises funds for and promotes awareness of CHP’s mission to engage and educate volunteers to grow fresh fruits and vegetables for hunger relief. Harvest Home Festival and 5K is a fun filled rain or shine event featuring live music, children's activities, animals, online auction, hay wagon rides, apple cannons and pumpkin catapults. Hearty food and beverages will be available for purchase. “This year’s Harvest Home Festival and 5K promises to be a great day as we commemorate the work our team and volunteers do to grow the over 250 thousand pounds of food CHP distributed to our hunger relief partners in 2023. We invite everyone in the community to celebrate with us,” says Executive Director Tori Buerschaper. BVT 2023 Annual Report available Blackstone Valley Tech is proud to announce that copies of its annual report are now available for residents of the Blackstone Valley Vocational regional School District to view. The 2023 report titled recipe for Success spans the FY23 fiscal year and highlights the remarkable achievements of students and staff in addition to financial information. According to Superintendent-Director Dr. Michael F. Fitzpatrick, the document is designed to inform the community about its vocational-technical education system. "Thanks to your continued support, our students received an exceptional education during FY23. Always mindful of your investment, we carry out our mission with care and consideration of cost. We enhance our vocational, academic, and community offerings with grants that strengthen our ability to serve our students and the greater community." Demonstrating what is achievable with their high-quality education, BVT alums are the best ambassadors for vocational-technical education. The annual report includes a profile of Sarah Arnold, a 2018 graduate of the Culinary Arts program. Discover how Sarah Arnold found her true calling and channeled her creativity into a passion for cakes, leading to incredible new connections and sweet experiences. The Farnum House topic at Historical Society Meeting The Uxbridge Historical Society’s Annual Meeting will be held on Sunday, November 19th at 2:00 p.m. in the lower hall of the Unitarian Church at 23 North Main Street in Uxbridge. This will be a business meeting including the election of Officers for the coming year. Nominations for Officers will be accepted at the meeting. A presentation “The Farnum House:

This year Northbridge HOSA (Future Health Professionals) chapter is partnering with Mass General Hospital to run two mobile blood drives at Northbridge High School as a community outreach program. Blood Drives will take place on Thursday, November 9th from 8:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and on Wednesday, May 1st, 2024. NHS HOSA students will complete a 1 hour training session with Mass General to serve as technicians who will assist in the logistics of

the blood drive. Mass General will provide all materials and supplies and has created some posters and flyers that will be placed around town to advertise the event. This is a fantastic opportunity to get the community active in saving lives! This event is open to all people. not just NHS related individuals. Come out and donate...help save lives!
