school News BVT Admissions to hold Open House Tours Blackstone Valley regional Vocational Technical High School will hold an Open House for prospective students and their families on Wednesday, November 8th, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. No registration is needed. The evening is an opportunity to tour the state-of-the-art facility located at 65 Pleasant Street in Upton and see for yourself how BVT is transforming education and the lives of its students. Meet staff members who will be on hand as a resource to answer questions about academics, student support services, student activities, and the admissions process. The schedule of events will include mini-sessions featuring the Special Education program and the support available to students at BVT and during the application process. Also, learn

WELCOME hOME - Last month, the mothers of two Uxbridge graduates reached out to the public for ideas on where to acquire welcome home signs for their sons who were returning to town after basic training. victor Abreu and Logan Donnelly, had completed basic training with the U.S. Marine Corp. and were returning to Uxbridge. Five students in Doug Priore's 7th Grade Social Studies class at Whitin Intermediate School were honored to create “Welcome home” signs for the special occasion. “We are very proud of our graduates AND our 7th graders for honoring them!” stated Mr. Priore.
