Headed up by Lin, an award-winning and Michelin-trained executive chef with over 21 years of experience as well as a coveted Acorn Award. Having previously honed her skills training at the Michelin Star Hotel, The Castle in Taunton and won the coveted Acorn Award while serving as Head Chef at Hix Oyster and Fish House in Lyme Regis, Dorset. Lin runs LAP food and bars along with her husband Paul and their talented and experienced team.

DIETARY FRIENDLY MENUS
Vegetarian, Vegan, and Special Dietary Requirements can all be catered for, once you have your full list of guest’s dietary requirements we will provide you with the variation of dishes. Where possible keeping this is line with your chosen menu.
PLANNING AN EVENT ITINERARY
As part of our service putting together the timings for your event is all part of the LAP experience. Bringing together the timings for guests arrival, the ceremony, drinks service, canapés, wedding breakfast, entertainment and more. The timings do not need to be set in stone but are there to guide us through your day.
ON THE DAY MANAGMENT AND COORDINATION
Managing and bringing together all the elements of your day to work efficiently and smoothly. Arranging site meetings during set up, as well as co-coordinating the day from guests arriving, serving drinks and our delicious food, to the moving around of the furniture, setting up sweet carts and more.
EXPERTS IN MARQUEE CATERING
HAVE THE SERVICE OF A 5-STAR HOTEL BUT EXACTLY WHERE YOU WANT IT. MARQUEES ARE PERFECT FOR THE SUMMER MONTHS AND CAN ADD CAPACITY TO YOUR CHOSEN VENUE, AND IT ALSO MEANS YOU CAN EVEN HOST THE WEDDING OR EVENT AT THE FAMILY HOME.
EVENT HIRE
We can help you navigate what you might need to consider to hire for your Wedding Breakfast, Party, or Event. Ask for our advice on what may be required depending on the meal you are looking to book before booking your marquee. A simple cold food buffet requirements are vastly different from a three-course meal with a choice of options for each course.
From the kitchen equipment, furniture, glassware, linen, and more. With our experience, we will make sure you have all you could need, from inside and outside furniture, tableware and can even help with the finishing touches.
Costing are inclusive of VAT and are for the food/drink and service. Costs do not include cutlery, crockery as the requirements change for set meals and sharing platters which may require more or fewer items to be hired. Sharing dishes will cost you less as you do not require individual dishes so are more budget friendly choice.
All our quotations are itemised and we will do our best to include everything from the off. Please bare this in mind when you are comparing other quotes that they are like for like, we will amend your quotation once you have your final numbers.

Each menu may require a slightly different set up, so each quotation will be bespoke to your requirements, but this figure is to help with budgeting. We will itemise everything within your quote.
KITCHEN APPLIANCES - POA - WILL BE ITEMISED WITHIN YOUR QUOTE
We are experts at catering for marquee events we can supply everything required to cook your food fresh on site. Once a menu is confirmed we will provide a kitchen design and power plan. For new venues we will arrange a site visit to take a look at the facilities available and if necessary we can advise what additional equipment may be required.
RECYCLING / WASTE DISPOSAL – WE CAN TAKE CARE OF IT ALL!
We like to be a green as we can, recycling bottles and packaging and using compostable serving dishes where appropriate.
FURNITURE
You can choose trestle or round tables for your Wedding Breakfast and can even add soft seating breakaway areas for your guests to relax in. With bars, poseur tables, stools, plus a dance floor, you will be ready to party.

We know that weddings aren’t only about the big day. This is why we put as much focus on the planning experience as we do into the day itself; because each moment prior to your wedding should be enjoyable and stress-free.
POINTS OF CONTACT
A booking can consist of just one meeting to get all of your planning accomplished, as our expertise are vast and our knowledge is strong. Some may need 2 to 3 further meetings dependant on the style of wedding, should it be required we will discuss this with you*. This allows us time to get to know you and have all the essential planning in place as well as well and the all important food requirements.

• Planning and/or tasting meeting - Planning meetings will consist of discussions about your menu, food and drink requirements, timings, logistics and any other supplier information. A tasting and planning meeting will consist of the above as well a food tasting session to finalise menu requirements. Our tastings are unlike many others and are 1-1 with you and your guests. There is a charge for the tasting part and as you would expect that is dependent on which parts of your menu you wish to sample. You are welcome to bring family and friends with you to sample the menu, we can accommodate a maximum of 6 people in total.

BARS
HIRE AND SERVICE
The importance of a good drink to accompany food cannot be stressed enough. We offer a variety of options for drinks and bar service.
DRINKS SERVICE OPTIONS
1. SERVICE ONLY
Option 1 is for supplying your own drinks. We will serve and pour your drinks for you but you may need to think about hiring chillers, glassware, and equipment if you are having a marquee wedding or event. Don’t worry we can supply and source all of this for you once we know the drink requirements from refrigeration to bottle openers, ice buckets to recycling, we will ensure you have everything needed.
2. FREE CORKAGE
Option 2 gives you a free corkage for the arrival, table and toast drinks you supply for your wedding breakfast or event. We can serve your drinks for you and run a fully stocked and staffed licensed bar afterwards that will accept cash and card payments.
3. SUPPLY ALL
With option 3 we will supply and serve your arrival drinks, meal drinks we can supply a staffed fully licensed bar with chillers, kegs, beer pumps, and wine lists plus a good choice of drinks. You can choose to have a paid bar or set a bar limit so guests can have a bottomless glass. Enjoy the choice of a fully stocked bar, relax knowing that we have all the relevant insurances and licenses and let our experienced team supply and serve all your drink for any event.
