Community At Its Core

“Empowering our community. Our gym is more than just a place for exercise. It’s a hub for inspiration, growth and unity. We’re honoured to be shortlisted for Best Community Enterprise award and we’ll keep striving to make our community healthier and happier through the hard work and dedication of our local volunteers.” In December of 2021, the fruits of their labours were celebrated by tireless volunteers. The upstairs studio hosts a regular schedule of classes, including spinning refurbished upstairs opening in 2022 to host spinning and circuit classes. There was a lack of fitness and gym options in the community - many found there were few affordable options and this would bridge the gap by providing accessible and affordable facilities for all age groups. What matters is serving community need. The Gym relies on volunteers for operating and maintaining the

facility, and they continually seek feedback from members. They aim to make the gym even more accessible, including to those who have disabilities. They embody inclusivity and engagement and with such strong and passionate leadership, they’re sure to go even further. Facebook: @kiskeamcommunitygym Instagram: @kiskeamcommunitygym
