Weddings are stressful. And Auntie Katie’s knows just how to make them easier.

Auntie Katie - Katie Lawlorworked in childcare for a number of years, and had done some childcare at weddings. She realised the need for this kind of specific childcare, and Auntie Katie’s was the answer. Auntie Katie’s was established in 2021 and her unique service has taken the country by storm. They’re based in Kanturk, but in their 2 years, they have covered 17 counties.

The team of 5 keep kids entertained and enriched during wedding days, and they are in demand, often covering 7 weddings a week! Their most popular plan is the 24 hour care and entertainment package, and their offerings go up to 48 hours! They also cater for bridal parties and wedding guests’ children. During these shifts, they keep kids comfortable and relaxed. They keep an eye to feeding, naps, nappies, and everything in between.

And with Auntie Katie, there’s no such thing as boredom! Each member comes equipped with a magical suitcase full of toys, headphones, colour books, fidget toys, books, and more!

They focus on the well-being of the children. Weddings can be such a long, busy, and overwhelming day for little ones. Having a dedicated adult makes the day easier, and puts the minds of kids and parents at ease.

Expansion is a goal. They have worked one wedding abroad - in lovely Portugal - and they hope to start with the UK in their future expansions.
