Cultivating The Next Generation

“I’m thrilled, and also overwhelmed. I would never have expected to be nominated for the Best Established Business Award. I’m open since 2015, we started with a handful of children, now we have 11 services, with the hopes that our Crèche will open Early 2024. But the credit flies to my amazing staff. Without them we would have nothing. They are the heart and soul of everything we do.“

Tina Dunstan - the owner and manager of Cherry Blossoms

Since 2015, Tina Dunstan and the Cherry Blossoms team have created and expanded their impressive programme. A collection of music, discovery, sport, theatre and art. Young ones are sure to enjoy engaging in their natural curiosity.

The Cherry Blossom team is made up of 41 people, and they believe learning is natural! They strive to make the most of this in the healthiest environment possible. In this environment, they encourage children to interact, investigate, and create. Respect is paramount, for themselves and others, and they learn to socialise as well as problem solve.

bright classrooms of new furniture, a full library, indoor play areas, and outdoor garden. With a full daycare, summer camps, and a syllabus that covers birth up to afterschools, there’s plenty to keep kids going.

There are also plenty ways to keep parents in the loop with workshops and seminars, as well as videos, emails, and messages to keep up with their child’s day.

The extensive team across 11 services work tirelessly to expand their knowledge of business, and hope to become a financial viable and success space that can pay staff well.

The services extend across Duhallow with Kanturk Afterschools, Anchor Playschool Meelin, and Cherry Blossom spaces across Bluepool, Lismire, Freemount, Kilbrin, Lisgriffin, Ballyclough, Kiskeam, Cullen, Meelin, and Feenagh. With a crèche hoping to be added into the mix in 2024, Cherry Blossoms continues to flower and shows no signs of slowing.
