Liscarroll N.S. School Fundraiser A ‘Wonder-Furl’ Success

Many thanks to all who supported the Liscarroll Fundraiser in the Charleville Show grounds on Sunday 5th November. Despite some showers later in the morning, it was a great success. €4500 was raised from the event, and this will go towards fencing, groundworks, and tarmac in the backyard around the hurling wall and creating a small playing area to the side of the yard.

Many thanks to all the staff and the Parents Association who helped out on the day and sponsored prizes. Thanks also to those who helped out with parking. Special thanks were extended to John Bradley, a past parent of our school. This was his third year organising this event with the help of some friends, especially Tom Griffin. The work that is done by John and co. for this event is commendable and we are very grateful.
