The Dart Club’s Annual General Meeting was held on Saturday 2 July with Dave Maunders (our primary Friday night meat pack raffles seller) elected as the Club’s president and Davindra Chavda its secretary. – Brian Lucas
Darts Singles Championship
O
n Saturday 2 July after the AGM of the Sorrento Bowling Club Darts, the Club played its annual singles championships. After some tough matches it came down to Spider Webb playing Dav Chavda in the best of five for the singles championship. It came down to the fifth and final match as both Spider and Dav had won two games each. Spider became the Club singles champion by beating Dav in the final match to win three matches to two.

Croquet Report Tournaments and Competitions Sunday 15 May saw the Annual George Parslow Cup 2022 being played at Cambridge Croquet Club. Jenny Wilmot and Cheryl Saul entered this doubles competition and were delighted with their performance by being Runners up. They missed being the Winners by a single hoop on a count back of net hoops. Congratulations to them both on an outstanding result.
