RATIFY FIRST UNION CONTRA CT IBEW Local 103 congratulates our hard working members at Encore Boston Harbor Resort and Casino, who recently ratified their first union contract! In October 2020, 100 Encore employees — including electricians, Fire Control Center dispatchers, and slot machine and A/V technicians — joined IBEW Local 103 for better wages, benefits and working conditions. This organizing victory represents a historic win for the Encore employees and for Local 103, which has become the first IBEW local to represent all trade workers in a casino. Encore technical and maintenance employees work hard to provide casino guests with a safe and memorable experience and IBEW Local 103 is proud to have successfully negotiated with management to deliver a strong first contract to our members. Additionally, we are proud of the determination and unity that these members have shown throughout the organizing and negotiating process. Congratulations to all of our Encore employee members!
