School's out for summer but athletes continue to train

Summer workouts aren't just for boys. The Lady Bulldogs are lifting and running also. Some kids are putting away video games for a few hours each day to stay in shape over the summer. Howe Athletic Director Bill Jehling has student-athletes working out each morning during the week lifting weights and doing agility drills.

Howe students recognized at Howard Payne University BROWNWOOD – June 5, 2019 – Howard Payne University honored 61 students for academic achievements at the university’s annual Academic Awards Convocation, held near the end of the spring 2019 semester.

Receiving awards from Howe were Lindsey Krueger and Tyler Olin. Krueger was recognized for Outstanding Music Service Award and Olin received Outstanding Student Speaker Bureau Member and Texas All-State Forensics Squad.
