Airianna Smith repeats as AllState Band selection
The descendants of Charles R. Thompson accept the honor in 2015 community of Howe in a significant positive way. Nominations so far have been submitted for J.J. Chisum, Steve Simmons, Norman Dickey, Glen D. Hestand, and Jimmy Bearden. The chamber will seek nominations until March 1. The board members of the chamber will pare down the list of nominees and compile a final list of inductees based on the number of nominations and merit. Citizens will also have a chance to participate in the final paring down. No minimum or maximum number of inductees has been predetermined. The announcement of the Class of 2016 will be revealed in the March 14 edition of the Howe Enterprise.
