Starting the Engine
Start engine from operator’s seat only. When running engine in a building, be sure there is adequate ventilation.
1. Position hydrostatic control lever to “N” (neutral) position. 2. Apply parking brake (see page 70). When starting procedure is complete, release parking brake before moving. 3. Start the engine with the throttle at one-half speed. 4. Turn key to the “ON” position to check instruments.
