—How to operate the feeder breaker
Radio transmitter In conjunction with the primary valve banks located at the operator's station, the machine has been equipped with an optional radio remote transmitter (Fig. 18). The remote control allows the operator to operate the machine from a remote location. Before the remote control will function, the Local/Remote selector switch on the control console must be placed in the remote position. The functions of the radio remote control are as follows: "ON"
The "ON" pushbutton located on the top right corner of the transmitter turns the transmitter on.
"OFF"
The "OFF" pushbutton located on the top left corner of the transmitter turns the transmitter off.
"MODE"
"MOTOR STOP"
This pushbutton starts the electric motor that drives the breaker and hydraulic pump on the machine. The "MODE" pushbutton is used to change the channel at which the transmitter is transmitting. The "MODE" pushbutton is preset at the factory and should not be used. This pushbutton is a local stop for the electric motor that drives the breaker and hydraulic pump on the machine. This switch is not an emergency stop button, therefore it does not disable all of the machine's electrical functions. If energized, it is not necessary to reset the master control relay on the machine. The operator can restart the motor from the Start Tram Motor button on the remote.
"TRAM FWD" (Left)
This pushbutton,energizes the valve section on the primary valve bank that controls the left hand crawler's forward motion.
"TRAM ENABLE"
In order for the operator to perform any tram functions from the remote; they must first push this push-button, and within five (5) seconds, execute the desired tram function. Also, after a tram function has been executed, the tram function enable stays on for an additional five (5) seconds to see if the operator desires to move the tram again without having to re-enable the tram function
"TRAM FWD" (Right)
This push-button energizes the valve section on the primary valve bank that controls the right hand crawler's forward motion
"TRAM REV" (Left)
This push-button energizes the valve section on the primary valve bank that controls the left hand crawler's reverse motion.
"TRAM REV" (Right)
This push-button energizes the valve section on the primary valve bank that controls the right hand crawler's reverse motion.
