How to operate the feeder breaker

Daily starting procedure

After reading the previous descriptions and locating each control, the operator is ready to operate the feeder breaker. An experienced operator should monitor a new operator's indoctrination to the starting procedure.

IMPORTANT! Before start-up, check that daily maintenance has been performed on the machine.

Operate all valve control handles to ensure that they are free and in neutral position.

Check conveyor for any foreign material or objects.

WARNING! All electrical maintenance should be performed only by a qualified electrician.

cr. Apply 460 VAC, 30, 60HZ power to the machine. (Line side of the main circuit breaker)

rZF' Set main circuit breaker located on the left door of the starter enclosure (Fig. 24) by first moving the circuit breaker lever to the "RESET" position and then to the "ON" position.

ce Set master control relay by pushing the "STOP CONV./BKR" pushbutton located on the right door of the starter enclosure (Fig. 24) and then release the pushbutton.
