Bleeding the system

- One 17 mm wrench for hexagonal head screws It is necessary to bleed the fuel system when :

Install the new filters. Turn the filters until the seals are in contact with the filter heads and tighten the filters by hand, half a turn more.
- The tank has been completely emptied. - Parts of the fuel system have been removed for servicing or repair work. - The machine has been in storage for a fairly long period. STEP 1

IMPORTANT : Do not use a filter wrench. Overtightening can damage the seals and filters. STEP 5

Loosen the clamps and remove the filter and hoses. Install a new filter and tighten the clamps. NOTE : If the engine does not regain full power after replacing the filters, bleed the circuit.

Operate the priming pump until fuel flows out with no air bubbles in it. Then tighten the bleed fitting. 181
