STEP 4

PH08320 Install the new filters. Turn the filters until the seals are in contact with the filter heads and tighten the filters by hand, half a turn more. IMPORTANT: Do not use a filter wrench. Overtightening can damage the seals and filters.

STEP 5

PH08314 Loosen the clamps and remove the filter and hoses. Install a new filter and tighten the clamps. NOTE: If the engine does not regain full power after replacing the filters, bleed the circuit.

Bleeding the system

Tools required

- One 17 mm wrench for hexagonal head screws It is necessary to bleed the fuel system when : - The tank has been completely emptied. - Parts of the fuel system have been removed for servicing or repair work. - The machine has been in storage for a fairly long period.

STEP 1

PG03320 Loosen the bleed fitting two or three turns.

STEP 2

PG03320 Operate the priming pump until fuel flows out with no air bubbles in it. Then tighten the bleed fitting.
