RIGHT-HAND SIDE PANEL
Upper hood ENGINE HOODS
IMPORTANT : Never close the hood without unlocking the gas strut, as this may cause damage.
WARNING : Before travel, make sure the hood is properly locked.
Side hood
PG02927 Raise the hood fully, using the handle. NOTE : To lock the hood, use the starter key switch.
PG02603 To gain access to certain components of the engine it is necessary to remove the side panel. Pull it upwards and then tilt it towards you.
PG03606 The right-hand gas strut is fitted with a locking system.
To close the hood, press the unlocking device and tilt the hood downward.
WARNING : After fully opening the hood, make sure the locking system is properly engaged.
PG02607 Once removed, place the side hood alongside the valve bank partition. After servicing, refit the side hood.
