WARNING : Road travel requiring the use of dipped or main beam headlights (night, tunnels, weather condition, etc.) must only be carried out with an attachment configuration (in the road transport position) using tools of a width less than 1.15 m (988 Series) or 1.05 m (1188 Series). to conform to lighting regulations . NOTE : The steering system of the machine includes an emergency steering system. If hydraulic supply fails, this function takes over automatically, the minimum steering pressure red indicator lamp lights up on the instrument panel and the force required to turn the steering wheel is greater.
JOB SITE TRAVEL WARNING : Before travelling on the job site, the stabilizers (if fitted) and the dozer blade (if fitted) must be completely raised.

Start the engine. Press down on the brake pedal and then select "Position 1" job site speed on the control panel (lefthand lamp lights up).
