Shelli-Ann McKenzie MS, RN, PMP, CPHIMS

Shelli-Ann McKenzie joined Access TeleCare (formerly SOC Telemed) as a Nurse Leader, Clinical Informatics Strategist, Educator, Speaker, and Advocate for Healthcare Professionals with more than two decades of excellent service in healthcare. Shelli-Ann has successfully leveraged her unique skill sets and has a proven track record of successfully bridging the knowledge gap between clinical and IT staff, while assisting with IT systems transitions, enterprise training, implementation, and professional development. Her knowledge as a registered nurse and informaticist spans the continuum of care as she has worked in various clinical specialty areas (cardiology, med-surg, ED, behavioral health) in hospitals, clinics, and in- home settings. ShelliAnn has also been instrumental in the innovation and growth of EHR technology companies. She has served at Georgia State University, as an Educator in the Graduate and Undergraduate Health Informatics Program. Shelli-Ann has also held several roles at industry leading organizations like, McKesson, Northside Health, Northwell Health, and Mount Sinai Health Systems; these include being a Senior Nurse Consultant at various consulting firms, like TEK Systems, Leidos, among others. Shelli-Ann, through her Advisory Board appointments at Georgia State University and Gwinnett County Public Schools, continues to share industry insights and remains passionate about building stronger communities and educating the next generation. In addition, her primary Board appointments include: District-wide Advisory Board, Health Sciences Career and Technical Education (CTE) Programs, Georgia State University Health Informatics Board of Advisors, Health Information Management Systems Society (HIMSS), Advocacy Committee, Subcommittee Co-Chair and Legislative Action. She currently fulfills the role of President and CEO at JNI Consulting, as an educator, advocacy champion, speaker, and an expert in clinical informatics and strategy. A twotime graduate of Molloy College, New York, her knowledge as a nurse and informaticist spans the continuum of care, including clinical settings, enterprise leadership, and innovation. In her downtime, Shelli-Ann enjoys traveling the world, singing, dancing, and watching track and field. A wife and mother of two, Shelli-Ann remains passionate about advocating for her frontline healthcare colleagues and her community. She has dedicated countless hours to community service and continues to form strategic partnerships to advance healthcare and technology innovation.
