Chandra McElroy RN, BSN Nurse Influencer

Chandra McElroy, known socially as Nurse Bae, is a registered nurse, influencer, and media correspondent with over 10 years in the entertainment industry. She is the owner of Cooking with Nurse Bae, LLC. which provides healthy meal planning and products nationwide. The vision for her brand is to bring people together one meal at a time while showcasing the advantages of health and wellness through diet.

Nurse Bae has created a strong media presence online throughout the years as that sexy nurse. But don’t get it twisted — she will slay you, then resuscitate you with sultry skills! By day she serves some of Atlantas’ elite, but after hours is when this nurse really comes to life.

She received her Bachelor’s of Science Degree from the University of Memphis and has a background in rehabilitation and neurology. Her career path has been anything but simple as she has navigated through multiple disciplines. Nurse Bae currently works full time as an infusion nurse servicing patients who suffer from multiple sclerosis. All the while, she maintains her position as a media correspondent and influencer for ATL Plus Magazine— talk about booked and busy!

Nurse Bae can be found around the city at some of the hottest and most exclusive events. It’s not a party until Nurse Bae comes through! Her outgoing personality paired with her infectious smile can be felt as soon as she enters. “When I moved to Atlanta, I began networking. I attended all types of events- from movie premieres, to galas, to celebrity pool parties. I love being around people with good energy, and I’m always down for a good time. The great thing about living in a major city like Atlanta is that you’ll always have something to do or somewhere to go. Whoever came up with the saying that New York is the city that never sleeps, clearly has never been to Atlanta.”

Whether it’s a red carpet event, or a tailgate; Nurse Bae will be on the scene giving you all the tea. This bombshell is more than what meets the eye. But exactly who is she? Like the great Taj Mahal... you will just have to take a step inside to see the essence of this beauty!

Dr. Erine Raybon-Rojas

A graduate of Ross University School of Medicine in 2008, Dr. Erine Raybon-Rojas has exemplified the innate potential graduates are able to achieve. Her journey has been recognized within the three disciplines of patient care, graduate medical education, and ongoing community outreach. She completed both her Internal Medicine Residency and Pulmonary/Critical Care Fellowship

Training from Henry Ford Hospital/Wayne State University in 2012, and 2015 respectively. She then served as pulmonary and critical care faculty until her move to Gainesville Georgia. Since then, she has been a physician leader at Northeast Georgia Health System (NGHS) advocating for her patients in a multitude of ways.

Dr. Rojas currently serves as Director for the Medical Intensive Care Unit Curriculum in Graduate Medical Education. She is responsible for the education of physician residents from various specialties throughout the healthcare system whom rotate through the intensive care unit. In addition, she also serves as Director for the Pulmonology Curriculum in Graduate Medical Education. Starting in 2019, Dr. Raybon-Rojas has been serving as Chair for the Pulmonary Embolism Response Team at NGHS charged with creating a multi-disciplinary approach for the care of patients acutely suffering from pulmonary emboli and sequela. Her role also extends as serving as principal investigator for the Pulmonary Embolism Response Team consortium registry.

Since the start of the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic, she has been a leader at the forefront for the health system helping navigate patient care needs and the expansion of medical intensive care services at various hospitals within the healthcare system. Her efforts have led to the mobilization of multiple medical intensive care units, restructuring of hospital units to meet patient needs, and assistance in critical staffing efforts to ensure patients were cared for. She was also responsible for ensuring the ongoing education of resident physicians throughout this time while contributing research at multiple annually held conferences including those from the American Thoracic Society, American College of Chest Physicians, Society of Critical Care Medicine and American College of Physicians - Georgia chapter.

During these critical months for the system, Dr. Raybon-Rojas also pioneered the Provider Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Taskforce, a first for the health system. Her efforts continue to help NGHS ensure employees, patients and their families from all walks of life feel included, cared, and heard for as they receive care at all levels within the institution. The taskforce is also responsible for education and is actively overseeing cutting-edge research within the diversity, equity, and inclusion space qualifying for grants for further investigative studies. She has been awarded educational grants for DEI and her work as been showcased at national conferences across the country. Her efforts have positively impacted the community at large by creating a youth empowerment mentorship with positive-exposure platforms for underrepresented communities interested in healthcare careers. The efforts of this taskforce also transcend directly into resident education as she serves as Director for Diversity Equity and Inclusion for Graduate Medical Education for Northeast Georgia Medical Center and Professor and Chair of Dept of Internal Medicine for Ross University School of Medicine.

Her ongoing efforts continue to put patient-care at the forefront and she now provides insights and ongoing advocacy through her role as Vice Chair of Medicine at Northeast Georgia Medical Center. Her ongoing and multi-disciplinary pursuits through patient care and graduate medical education also allow her to serve her community and positively affect the upcoming class of physicians.
