ROCKING RUDOLPH IS BACK! We’re bringing Rocking Rudolph ale back for the festive season! Following on from last year, for each pint sold of our popular festive beer we will donate 5p (plus VAT) to Macmillan, with the money raised going towards helping the charity to continue to provide vital care and support for people living with cancer.

As the number one Christmas ale in the on-trade for the last nine years, the seasonal 4.2% cask ale is filled with fruity esters and has a malted toffee taste with a crisp bitter finish, providing a perfect beer for some Festive Cheer. Rocking Rudolph is available for all customers to stock, including free trade pubs and lease and tenanted. Jack Palmer, Head Brewer said: “Rocking Rudolph is a firm favourite every year and it’s great to be able to use our beer to also raise awareness and funds for such an important cause at this time of the year with Macmillan Cancer Support. Last year, we gave over £24,000 from the sales of Rocking Rudolph to our charity partner, let’s see if we can beat it this year!” Spread the word and be sure to get down to your local pub for a pint of our much-loved Christmas ale!

Keeping grassroots alive!
To highlight the issues faced by grassroots sports clubs, we recently installed a ‘living billboard’ in Birmingham city centre, accompanied by a pop-up bar. The unique installation, which featured real grass that was watered by an in-built sprinkler system every time passers-by picked up a can of Greene King IPA, symbolising how the beer is helping to support grassroots sport! The campaign was supported by David Domoney, chartered horticulturist and celebrity gardener who said: “I’m incredibly proud to support Proud to Pitch In, so if you want to do your bit for grassroots sport, make sure you head for a pint of Greene King IPA.”
