RETURN OF A FAVOURITE! Strong Suffolk, a brew believed to have been created in the 1920s is making a much-anticipated return to our portfolio this winter! The English Strong Ale is now available to purchase from our online shop for the RRP of £2.50, or from the Beer Café. Strong Suffolk was last brewed in 2018 and has developed a dedicated fanbase due to its deep, fruity tasting notes and the traditional method in which it is brewed.
yet traditional brewing process, taking on a strong 12% ABV ale base, which has been fermented and matured in 100-barrel oak vats. The crucial maturing process can take up to two years and creates the rich Madeira wine-tasting palate the beer is frequently compared to.
Fans of the ale will be pleased to discover that no significant changes have been made to the unique brewing process, or delicious notes of fruitcake, sultanas and dried fruit as well as spice and oak – the main change being the refresh of it’s well-known badge.
After the beer is blended with a dark, fullbodied beer called BPA, it undergoes a process that blends old and new techniques. The result is a dark ale with masses of deep, fruit flavour that is reminiscent of heritage English ales.

GREENE KING'S ONLINE SHOP IS BACK FOR CHRISTMAS!
You’ll be familiar with our online shop as being the one place where you can buy the entire family of Greene King beers – not only that but wine, gin and loads of great gifts too! If you’ve visited the shop recently you will also have noticed that it hasn’t been taking orders for several weeks as unfortunately our 3PL supplier went into administration. Since then, the team have been busy finding a new fulfilment solution and they are delighted to say that the shop will be opening again to take orders in time for Christmas. Working closely with our new supplier, Staci, the team has not only been able to relaunch the shop at lightspeed, but also been able to evolve the service and provide new benefits to our customers! We’ll be introducing a telephone line to provide instant customer service support, as well as extending the order cut-off time for same day dispatch from 1pm to 2pm. “We're thrilled to announce the reopening of the online shop in time for the festive season. Oh and it wouldn’t be Christmas without Rocking Rudolph so we’ve got sleigh loads in stock as well as some festive merch to deck yourself with Rudolph clobber from head to toe! Last but by no means least we have the Dadvent Beer Fridge – rated as 5* by our customers so heaps of happiness being poured in every fridge (it’s really just a fancy box).”
