NAIDOC Week celebrations

Rider flown out after hitting a roo Cobar Police and paramedics were called to assist with an accident near Tilpa on Saturday morning. The call came just after 8.30am following a motorbike accident on the Barnato-Tilpa Road, 25km south of Tilpa. It appears the bike, ridden by a 49 year old male, hit a kangaroo. The man was treated on the scene and conveyed to Tilpa Airport where he was transported by Royal Flying Doctor Service to Orange Base Hospital for further treatment.

Police called in after a bar fight

Cobar Police were called to a local pub around 10.15pm on Saturday night after a fight broke out between two males. The altercation took place between a 23 year old man and another male aged in his 30s. Investigations into the matter are continuing.
