Chief Executive Officer Position located in Cobar NSW Murdi Paaki Services Limited (MPSL) is seeking applications from motivated people interested in undertaking the role of Chief Executive Officer.

About Murdi Paaki Services Limited (MPSL) Murdi Paaki Services Limited was created by the Murdi Paaki Regional Assembly as the operational arm to support and advocate to equalise the balance of our interactions with the Government and other agencies on behalf of First Nation peoples in the Murdi Paaki Region.

Chief Executive Officer – Full time The Chief Executive Officer will effectively manage the operations and business of MPSL in accordance with the positions’ operational functions and within the delegated authorities. In this capacity, the CEO will provide accurate and sound advice to the MPSL Board of Directors and Chairperson to enable informed decisions and to ensure the implementation of the Board’s decisions and resolutions in a timely and appropriate manner.

Full time until 30 June 2024 with the possibility of renewal – subject ongoing to funding. Manuka Resources Plant Metallurgist Manuka Resources owns and operates the Mt Boppy Gold Mine and the Wonawinta Project located in the Cobar region of central NSW. The Process Plant based at our Wonawinta site utilises conventional crushing, grinding and elution technology to produce gold doré from the Mt Boppy open cut mine. We are currently seeking a Plant Metallurgist to join our team. As a Plant Metallurgist, you will play a key role in ensuring the day-to-day plant performance meets production KPIs and maintain the integrity of metallurgical accounting.

Be proactive in identifying and reporting potential hazards and eliminating risk taking behaviours or actions. Demonstrate behaviours aligned with our Mining values of Safety, Excellence, Accountability and Respect. Monitor and report plant metallurgical performance under guidance of the Senior Metallurgist. Develop and carryout metallurgical test work and plant trials that are aimed at improving efficiencies and/or costs and provide technical reports on the findings and recommendations. Complete daily, weekly and monthly metallurgical accounting and reporting. Monitor and ensure that key plant operating parameters remain within target. Monitor and ensure that consumption of process consumables remain in line with budget. Provide professional, technical advice to mine site personnel as required in a timely manner.

About you It is important that you have/can demonstrate: •

Tertiary qualification in Metallurgy, Minerals Processing, or related discipline. Ability to work safely at all times. Effective computer literacy, including spread sheet and database development. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Experience with data management and metallurgical accounting is highly regarded.
