Above average temperatures
Cobar has experienced a week of above average temperatures according to the Bureau of Meteorology. Our warmest day of the week was last Friday when the mercury reached a top of 22.3. According to the Bureau, that’s 6.3 degrees higher than the average for this time of year of 16. Saturday’s top was 21.9 degrees while Sunday recorded a high of 20.7. Our coolest day of the week was last Wednesday which started with a minimum temperature of 3.4 degrees before only reaching a top of 18.5 during the day. Saturday evening’s unexpected shower caught a few people out however it wasn’t enough to register in the Bureau’s gauge. Th Bureau did record the light showers on Sunday morning with 0.2mm falling. The start of the working week was a warm one with a maximum of 21.3 degrees recorded on Monday. The Bureau is predicting we are in for cooler days in the week ahead. It is expected to reach a top of 17 degrees today while 20 is the expected top daytime temperature tomorrow. A morning shower or two is predicted for Friday with a top of 17 degrees. The outlook for Saturday is a sunny day with an expected top of 16 degrees. Sunday is predicted to be cool and cloudy with 14 degrees the expected top daytime temperature. The forecast for Monday is sunny with a top of 18 degrees.
