ADMINISTRATION OFFICER (Planning): will deliver effective and efficient administrative support as well as exceptional customer service for and on behalf of Council's Planning department.We are looking for a well organised individual who works as well collaboratively as they do independently, acompetent user across all Microsoft Office applications (specifically MS Word) and a keen eye for detail.

Permanent full time, hours and work days negotiable, salary dependent on skills and experience, up to $34.96/hr

PROJECT SUPPORT OFFICER (Fixed-Term): will provide administrative support to the project team including managing databases, website and social media updates, procurement activities, preparing agendas, recording and distributing meeting minutes. The project team actively support Council's event and function delivery, which provides a unique opportunity for this role to be creative and community centred.

Fixed Term (2-Years), hours and work days negotiable, commencing at $30.62/hr

LIBRARY ASSISTANT: Duties will include issuing and returning all library materials using our computerised library system; troubleshooting technology, receipting money from the public; and other general office and clerical duties.To be successful in this role you will have exceptional customer service skills and the enthusiasm to help our diverse range of library users with the flexibility to adapt and the ability to prioritise and multitask.

Permanent part time, up to 30hrs a week available, commencing at $25.92/hr

LEAD EDUCATOR (Preschool Room): Diploma qualified and will be responsible for developing and implementing an innovative learning program, documenting the children's learning journey, and ensuring the room operates efficiently, cost effectively and in accordance with the required standards, legislation and regulations. Previous experience leading and managing a room combined with your ability to recognise and develop the strengths in your team will see you succeed in this role.

Permanent full- time, 38hrs a week, with monthly RDO, $32.28 - $37.37/hr dependent on experience

EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATORS (Casual): the primary focus of our casual pool is lunch cover Monday to Friday (11am - 2pm), as well as covering rostered days off (working a full day) for the other educators, and both planned and unplanned leave as required.

Temporary casual - Diploma qualified $37.81/hr, Certificate III qualified $32.65/hr

Regional Energy and Net Zero Project Officer

Full-time Position (Fixed Term)

Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 plus superannuation, depending on experience

The Far North West Joint Organisation of Councils (FNWJO) is offering a 12-month contract for a person who has a strong interest in pursuing innovative projects that progress energy management and Net Zero outcomes for theFNWJO Region.

The Far North West Joint Organisation encompasses the Councils of Cobar, Walgett and Bourke.

The Project Officer will be responsible for delivering a regional Energy Management and Net Zero Plan that encompasses a diverse range of projects including preparing business cases, running regional procurements, delivering community education programs and working with councils to identify innovative solutions to common problems.

The position would ideally suit applicants with a tertiary qualification in environmental management, environmental science, sustainability, project management or business with proven experience in delivery across similar areas.

You will have well-developed written and oral communication skills and a good understanding of key energy management issues and initiatives and Net Zero pathways.

Flexible working arrangements will be considered with the successful candidate; with a preference, although not essential, that the successful applicant be located within the FNWJO Region. Should the successful applicant not be located within the FNWJO Region and work from home, there will be a need for the person to visit the FNWJO and familiarise themselves with each of the members Councils.
