A feast of golf over the Easter weekend

Men golfers played competition golf on all four days over the Easter weekend.
Peter ‘Ding’ Lawrence was in fine form winning the Par event on Good Friday after coming in with a score of +3.
Mark Fraser finished second with +1 while Zach Finn picked up third place with -2.
The Nearest to the Pin winner was Finn on the 15th hole.
On Easter Saturday Garry Wilkin was a little too good for the rest of the field in the Stableford competition coming in with 35 points.
The ever reliable Super Vet Max Phillips finished in second place on a countback from Zach Finn after both finished with 34 stableford points.
Captain Alec Fraser was 4th on a countback from Bian Smith after both came in with 33 stableford points.
Nearest to the Pin prizes were won by Max Phillips on the 3rd and 7th holes, Garry Wilkin on the 8th hole and Peter Robinson won the 15th hole.
A field of 18 players contested the Four Ball Multiplier event on Easter Sunday.
Peter Robinson and Peter Lawrence, on 63 stableford points, finished as the winners of the day.
Bian Smith and Scott Mayne were the runners-up with 57 stableford points closely followed by Jay Egan and Jade Buckman on 56.
Mark Fraser and Stewart Fraser finished back in 4th place on 54 stableford points.
Nearest to the Pin prizes were won by Max Phillips on the 7th hole, Garry Wilkin on the 8th and John Potter on the 15th.
The best individual score was Max Phillips’ 38 stableford points, followed by Peter Lawrence on 36 stableford points.
On Easter Monday a countback was required to separate Bill Fugar and Joe Palma, with Fugar having the decision go his way after both finished with 37 stableford points.
Stewart Fraser, on 36 stableford points, was next best for third place.
Nearest to the Pin prizes went to Garry Wilkin on the 3rd hole, Stewart Fraser on the 7th and 8th holes, Bill Fugar on the 11th and Joe Palma on the 15th.
Last Saturday’s Four Ball Multiplier game was dominated by the Fraser clan.
Stewart Fraser and Mark Fraser won the event with 36 stableford points with Alec Fraser and Craig Dillon the runners-up on 33 stableford points.
Jay Egan and Ian Prendergast stumbled into third place with 30 stableford points.
Nearest to the Pin shots were recorded by Alec Fraser on the 3rd hole, Stewart Fraser on the 7th, Scott Mayne on the 8th and Peter Robinson on the 11th hole.
A countback was required to separate Mark Fraser and Ian Prendergast after both finished with 41 stableford points in the individual Stableford competition.
Fraser got the decision.
