TRADES ASSISTANT - MOBILE MAINTENANCE

CSA Mine is looking for Trades Assistants to join the Mobile Maintenance team. This role will see you responsible for the daily refuelling and servicing of Mobile Maintenance equipment throughout the mine including undertaking daily inspections of the equipment. When required you will assist in general servicing of equipment within the workshop and will assist with stores duties including loading and unloading trucks and cages.

About the role:

• Refuelling Mobile Maintenance equipment

• Conduct daily inspections on equipment

• Provide prompt feedback to Supervisors and Sandvik site PSA’s when issues/defects are found

• Accurately record fuel and oil volumes as well as hour meter readings on all equipment

• Service Mobile Plant equipment when required

• Assist the Store when required – loading/ unloading parts

• Monitor, maintain and check equipment and materials

• Assist with general housekeeping of workshop and refuelling mobile equipment

Conditions

The successful applicant will have:

• Current Australian Manual Driver’s Licence and Forklift ticket

• Mining experience and a mechanical trade certificate will be highly regarded

• UG mechanical maintenance experience in mobile fleet, including, but not limited to; Sandvik, Epiroc and Caterpillar equipment

• Competent in equipment servicing and refuelling of mobile mining equipment

• Previous experience in operating a fuel and lube service truck will be highly regarded

• High commitment to a positive safety culture

This is a 7/7 continuous shift, residential roster. 12 weeks of transit accommodation is provided to assist the successful applicant to source their own accommodation locally.
